Hermionebaulked,“Whatareyoudoingmakingpeaetreatieswithfaeries?I’vebeenwaitingherealmostanhour!Noone’sshownup!”

Pansytookabreathandremindedherselfthattheirpnwasfwless.Well,mostly.

Afshinthedistaneaughthereye.SheandFelixdroppedtotheirkneesandpeeredovertheedgeofthebuilding.ThefieldbelowwasslightlylitbytheeletrilightsofaMuggleparkingareanearby.Theyouldmakeouttwogroupsofhoodedfiguresstandingoneitherendoftheopenfieldbelow.Thenawoman’svoieuttered,“Lumos!”

Twofiguresstoodlosesttothebuildingwhiletheotherfourfiguresmadetheirwaytothemiddleofthefield.Igora’smouthfellopenwhensherealizedoneofthefourwasBertrieZivantus.Felixtappedherontheshoulderandpointedtohiswath.WhenIgoralookedbaktothefield,thefigureswerelearlyperftheexpetedseurityspellsandheksonthearea.

Fromwhatsheouldtell,Bertrieseemedalright.Shelungtothesideofoneofthefiguresinthefieldandlookedaroundwithwideeyes.Thepoorthingwasprobablyterrified.
